About the Unit

The Army Staff is an independent organizational unit within the Armed Forces where the Technical and Maintenance Office Ground (TVK Mark) is included as a section in the Armament Department. TVK Mark is responsible for material maintenance, material utilization/planning, and material maintenance economy for ground material within the army as well as within other branches/forces, and for ensuring that the material is maintained in accordance with system objectives. TVK Mark consists of seven system details with responsibilities for Air Defense, Soldier-Borne Weapons, Field Work Material, Indirect Fire, CBRN, Wheeled Vehicles, and Combat Vehicles, as well as three details that work more comprehensively within the TVK organization. These three details are the Planning Detail, Staff Detail, and RPL (Regional Production Management). The Planning Detail where you will be placed is responsible for material needs planning (in GRO and KRO).

The Position

At the TVK Mark Planning detail, we now have an open position as Staff Officer Planning focusing on material needs planning. We can offer you a developing job together with about ten competent and friendly colleagues in planning and follow-up regarding material needs and economy. The position as Staff Officer Planning is responsible together with others in the detail for analysis, planning, and follow-up within the Armed Forces' support process for material and supply management (MOF). This means ensuring that information reaches its destination, is used correctly, and contributes to an efficient use of resources so that the right material reaches the right user at the right time. The work often involves seeing the big picture and prioritizing and suggesting solutions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Represent the Army Staff in dialogues, staff work, and functional management regarding material needs planning within the army, towards OrgE and other TVK/TVA.
  • Represent the Army Staff in dialogues and staff work with the Defense Staff regarding material needs planning at the Armed Forces level.
  • Represent TVK Mark internally within the Army Staff in various meetings, preparations, and working groups representing material needs planning (both regarding GRO and KRO).
  • Functional management and follow-up within TVK Mark regarding material needs planning.
  • Participation in the development of methods and support systems within the function's area of responsibility.

Requirements

  • Professional officer
  • Experience working with material needs planning in the Armed Forces (MFO/LUKO), in the support systems PRIO and LIFT
  • Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English
  • Good knowledge of the Office package
  • Driving license B

Meritorious

  • Experience with defense logistics planning at the regiment level or in a central staff
  • Experience at a logistics unit or regiment staff (4-function)
  • Experience with Technical Service or MOF in the Armed Forces' support systems LIFT and PRIO
  • Experience with needs assessment/material needs planning (MFO/LUKO)
  • Previous work at TVK, TeK, or FMV

You are creative, problem-solving, and task-focused, with good analytical skills, curious, and enjoy developing and being challenged. Position: SO8, if you hold another rank, you are welcome to apply.
Employment form: Permanent full-time (the employment begins with a 6-month probationary period for those who are not currently employed in the Armed Forces)
Work location: Boden. (Could be another location where the Army Staff is located)
Start date: By agreement.
Travel is a natural part of the job, primarily within Sweden but also abroad may occur.
